Corey Lewis started the race for the BERG #40 in 6th place, fell to 7th on the start, but by lap 5 worked his way into 4th position.
By lap 11, nearly 30 minutes into the 2.5 hour event, Corey was 2 seconds behind the leader, but had built up a five second lead over 5th place Jeff Mosing. The lead car Chad McCumbee (Mazda MX-5), Marc Miller (Mazda MX-5), Corey Fergus (Honda Civic Si) and Corey Lewis (Porshe Boxster)
Yellow at 15 with Fergus leading and Lewis in 2nd place followed by Eich, Novich, and Winchester.
On the restart Eich, Novich and Miller got by Lewis and Fergus held the lead, but Lewis quickly got back past Miller and Novich for 3rd by lap 22 (1 hour 30 minutes remaining). On the next lap Lewis passed Novich for 2nd place.
The driver change dropped the #40 from 2nd to 21st as Justin Piscitell took the wheel with a little over one hour remaining.
Back to green following 3rd caution with 28 minutes remaining and Piscitell at the wheel in 19th. Piscitell was able to move up to 14th by the end of the event.
Corey ran in the top seven throughout his stint and a good part of it in 2nd place. He also posted the third fastest lap of the race.

It's "Boxster." It's parked next to your Ferari and your Lambergini. You're quite the expert, eh??
Speed doesn't make it a Porsche. Who designed it and what it was originally intended for has a lot of say in what it is. Look up the history of the 914 or the 924. As to the Boxster that you fantasize about owning, it's a Porsche. However, the original poster was discussing an "old Porsche" that he bought to fix up. I doubt that he's discussing a Spyder or a 917, or even a 911 so I assume it's either a 356, a 912, or a 914. Anything to add, or would you prefer to keep making "Brmmm brmmm" noises while you pretend to drive your "Boxter"??
