Gearbox for rear engine replica

February 27, 2013 – 10:39 pm
Komzone! See It Together! Hello
I know there are good technicians here on this board.with a lot of build and race knowledge.
I want to make a rear engine replica.
the problem I have Is to find a gearbox that I can use on the m30/m88 and that is build with 2 output flanges in place like all the bmw gearboxes that have 1 propshaft flange.
first I wanted to try the renault un1, not good to long and problem with parts.and gear lever on the rear side of the box.
then I wanted to use a old one from a audi 200.
but before starting this I want to check out this board.
maybey there is a other getrag gearbox with(2 wheel flanges) that is fitting on the separete getrag belhousing(dogleg s14, m30)
or a other solution.
do haves some one a good solution
best regards
ruben block
thank you

The cars I'm looking at right now are these... (sorted from most to least wanted)
Datsun 240Z
Mazda Miata
Toyota MR2 Spyder
Honda S2000
BMW M3 (older series because I'm not rich)
The reason why the S2000 and M3 are on the bottom is...
