The new Chrysler Crossfire Can you guess what car posted the fastest 60-130 time on DragTimes's website? I'll give you a hint. His slower of two runs was 3.0 seconds, yes 3.0 seconds, and it's not German (or Italian) built. The better run was 2.5 seconds and the car is...a Plymouth! Yes, a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner! Happens to have a 426 turbo Hemi but check out the picture on the DragTimes site (Drag Racing 1/4 Mile times 0-60 Dyno Fast Cars Muscle Cars - and believe it or not other than the slicks and big hood scoop it looks very much like a street car. Apparently it runs an 8.45 second 1/4 mile.
Probably a good match for George's Avalanche, at least up to 300 kph!

I wouldn't be advising, more of presenting to them the facts about a car and they can weigh the pros and cons unless they specifically want my advice on a car.
i am an equipment mechanic by trade so i cant say that i have a certain number of years as an auto experience with autos is doing swaps.for example the toyota mr2, it came with only 4cylinder engines available.i swapped V6 engines into them for people that wanted more power.another example is the lexus sc400 (v8 engine) only came with the option of an automatic transmission while the sc300 (same exact body but with a 6 cylinder engine) came with the option of a manual transmission.i put 2 and 2 together here(figured same body, why not have the same mounts for the manual transmission) for some people and swapped...
