We have no idea why this auction house is having a classic car sale on a random Wednesday at noon, but it looks like it will be excellent. Brightwells Ltd auctions fleet cars and trucks every week, and every two months or so they have a classics only sale. Wednesday is one of them, and offers 119 vehicles and four motorbikes. The sale seems really approachable, with everything from basketcase Healey projects to cool rarities like a Triumph Dolomite Sprint. But then there are Morris works cars and project rally cars. We think this is awesome. Find the full catalog here at Brightwells.com.
That W110 Mercedes above is said to have run the 2011 African Safari rally, and looks the part. We are still trying to figure out why the green Jaguar XK140 would have had its doors removed when previously prepped for competition. We wish that US-based auctions had stuff this bizarre to offer!
